Now ‘thrifting’ feels twice as good!
With the success of our first retail ‘Carpenter’s Corner Thrift & More’ store in the Rural Oaks neighborhood, Carpenter’s Place is now adding a second store to serve the needs of southeast Rockford and generate additional revenue for our many programs directly benefiting the area’s homeless and families in crisis.

and Monday through Saturday going forward.

You now have two retail destinations to choose from. Both will deliver exceptional value of a curated selection of gently-used adult and children’s clothing, jewelry, toys, household goods, furniture, bicycles, books and other merchandise.

Donations Welcome AT 1715 Rural Street, Rockford, IL (STORE #1)!
We’re now accepting donations at Carpenter’s Corner Store #1, and will also be accepting donations at our new Store, after our Grand Opening. Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. We’re greatly in need of:
•Household Goods
•Gently Used Clothing
•Furniture
(We’re not accepting sleeper sofas, mattresses, large appliances or large office furniture.)
