Giving Opportunities at Carpenter’s Place this Christmas
This beautiful time of year often sparks in our hearts extra kindness, generosity and compassion for those less fortunate. For that we are deeply grateful and have many opportunities for you to help make Christmas special for our homeless guests!
Review the options below and if you’d like to get involved as an individual, family, co-workers, church members, class of students, or any other group, just contact us and we’ll work out the details! Your involvement will be deeply appreciated!
Warm winter boots! Winter is here and warm boots are greatly needed! Men’s sizes 10 to 13. (If you can’t get out to shop or just don’t have the time, cash donations can be designated specifically for the purchase of boots.)
NOTE: Donations can be dropped off in person at Carpenter’s Place Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Due to road construction, our facility on Railroad Avenue can only be accessed from 7th Street.
Adopt a Homeless Guest for Christmas!
Provide the only gift they’ll receive this Christmas! Wish list provided. $25-$30 range.
Adopt the child of one of our homeless guests this Christmas!
Provide a toy or clothing item to be given to a child whose parents aren’t able to purchase a gift for them this Christmas. Wish list provided.
Provide a Holiday Dinner!
Provide a holiday meal for guests in one of our housing programs! Groups range from 4 to 8 adults. Dates in December.
Join our 12 Days of Christmas!
Individually or as a group provide breakfast, offer a small gift, or provide holiday music to our daily homeless guests!
Double your Dollar!
Give a donation in December and generous donors will match it! Your dollars will be doubled — matched 100%!
